PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Mentorship

Being a member of BMES means you have a lot of access to older students, specifically the officers, who are willing to help with classes, Co-Op and internship advice, and any other questions you might have. Please feel free to reach out to any of the officers at any time by visiting the contact us page.

Internships & Research

Officers have comprised a list of over 100 research and industry internships in the biomedical field. If you are a due paying member, please contact our Secretary, Emily Smith, for more information.

Additionally, many members are currently participating in research and would love to help you get connected. We also plan to hold a research matching fair later this semester.

Resume Workshops & Help

Any old student is a great resource for resume help. Additionally, we can get you connected with resume workshops and former Auburn students who have expertise in editing resumes. In the future, we hope to host our own resume workshops tailored to our members' specific needs.
